2026 South Point Outdoor Qualifiers

WSTR 2027 qualifiers for 2026 Finale contestants, produced by Mathews Land & Cattle and presented by Priefert, in the South Point Outdoor Arena (Centex stall location). The office opens at 7:30 AM daily and ropings start at 9 AM, except Friday, December 4. Gist buckles go to the average winners of every roping.

Online entries at GlobalHandicaps.com open at 8 AM Pacific each day:

  • Nov 9, 2026Books open for ropings on December 4 and 5

  • Nov 12, 2026Books open for ropings on December 11, 12 and 13
  • Nov 16, 2026Online entries close for the South Point qualifiers
  • You must be entered in the 2026 Finale to enter the South Point qualifiers.
  • Pre-entry draw-in option for the #8.5 and #7.5 only. If ropings don’t fill online, ropers may draw in onsite the day before each division.
  • If enter-1X ropings don’t fill, entries open online again on November 14 to enter a second time.
  • Onsite entries open the day before each roping at 10 AM, cash or card only, and rope at the beginning.
  • Must be 21 or turn 21 this calendar year (except the Open, #15.5, #14.5 and #13.5).
  • A current WSTR or USTRC membership, Key Card or Key Card Max is required. Buy or renew online, on-site before you rope, or by phone at (505) 898-1755; memberships are free to renewing ropers 70 and older.
  • $40 non-refundable draw-in fee, waived in the #8.5 and #7.5.
  • Payoff is based on paid teams: 80% payback when the entry fee is $200 or more, 75% for a $150 entry.
  • The #8.5 and #7.5 qualifiers flag on heels.
  • To enter the Open qualifier you must also be entered in the Open Finale.
