Eddy Womack, a devoted family man, life long rancher, and passionate outdoorsman, passed away on April 27, 2026. Born on May 16, 1937.
Eddy's love of horses began at Fort Stanton, NM where he was born and raised. Eddy raised, trained, and rode horses most of his life. Anything horseback was where he was happy.
Eddy managed the G-F Ranch until he retired. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, competitive shooting and teamroping, not just as hobbies but as a true passion.
Eddy was a member of the Coors teamroping Association, USTRC, WSTR as well as the local Capitan Roping Club and enjoyed as many jackpots as he could get to.
Eddy is survived by his wife Ellen Fay Womack; daughters, Margaret Ann Miles, Debra Rae Cox (Kenneth), Teri Pickett (Troy), seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Eddy Womack leaves behind a legacy rooted in hard work, family, and a western way of life. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and kind heart.
