Most of you have been Legacy Ropers for over 18 years or have been attending the Finale for ten consecutive years or have earned the Legacy Status as a WSTR Finale Champion. As a legacy roper you have continued to say, "we should" with "we did" enjoy the best and richest team roping event at December's Cowboy Central,
the South Point Equestrian Event Center.

Who is a Legacy Roper?
NEW 2024 LEGACY ROPER: This designation is awarded to ropers who have roped at the Finale for the last 10 consecutive years or have won first in a Finale division.
LEGACY ROPER: This designation is awarded to ropers who roped in the #10 & #9 in 2006 or the #14 in 2007 and renewed each year if the roper entered the Finale in any of these years: 2019, 2021, 2022, or 2023.
SILVER LEGACY MEMBERS: This is a lifetime benefit provided you are an active roper who is over 70 and has roped during the last three years. What happens if a Silver Legacy roper who hasn't roped in the last three years starts to rope again? No worries, we have the list, and we will reinstate your Silver Legacy status.
Other Information: A legacy roper may enter any division he/she chooses. Entry fees are priced by the roper so you can invite any roper who meets the Finale entry criteria.
Remember: Each year more and more Legacy ropers believe their Legacy benefit carries beyond the Thursday June 6th deadline and enter late, however, after June 6 the entry fees will be based on your circumstance, not counting the Legacy benefits. Entries are considered incomplete until both sides are paid.
