Halfway through the 2022 Ariat World Series of team Roping and the team of Prestyn Hewitt from Cleburne, TX and Andy Anya from Canton, TX are the big winners. Taking home the gold in the #11.5 Gold Buckle Beer Finale the team earned an amazing $308,000 in cash and the tremendous Ariat WSTR Finale Prizeline that included H. Holden Bronzes, Cactus Saddlery Trophy Saddles, Gist Silversmiths Championship Trophy Buckles, Dinner for 2 at Michael's 5-Star Restaurant, Yeti Tundra Coolers, Cactus Saddlery Saddle Pads, Resistol 20X Black Gold Hat Certificates and Mule Deer Foundation Cascade Bolt-Action Rifles. Hewitt and Anya roped well throughout the roping and finished it with a 7.44-second run in the short round from the fifth call back position. When all was said and done the days event at the Ariat World Series of Team Roping paid out a total of $1,912, 500 in cash making it the biggest roping so far this week in Las Vegas.
