Dwayne "Buster" Wilcox age, 44, a resident of Belen, New Mexico, and originally from Grants, New Mexico, passed away on September 10, 2024. Buster possessed an infectious personality. He never met a stranger and always had a smile and a joke. His love for his family was strong and had no bounds.
He found his true love, Shawna, 3 years ago, and after one month of dating, he married her. He supported and pushed his daughters to do great things, and that love carried over to his friends. His passion for team roping was profound and apparent throughout his life.
He created and carried a legacy that most dream of. A legacy of love, caring, passion and honesty. He will forever be in our hearts and never forgotten! Buster is preceded in death by his grandparents and his uncle. He is survived by his wife, Shawna Wilcox: mother, Susie Wilcox; father, Jerry Wilcox; daughters, Tristin and Ashlynn Wilcox; uncle, Rodney Wilcox; aunt, Susan Wilcox; sister, Amanda (Joseph) Saavedra; and brother, Randall Wilcox.
