Finale Run Delivery, Key Card and Key Card Max Customers,
The overall demand for the newly launched Run Delivery program exceeded our wildest expectations this year. For those of you who either purchased the Run Delivery or Key Card/Key Card Max, you will find your runs inside of Globalhandicaps.com. Once you log in, just click the Run Delivery link in the Members menu. For those of you who haven't purchased Run Delivery from the Finale but would like to see your runs, you can do it at any time and you will have instant access to your runs. Simply upgrade your membership to a Key Card or Key Card Max or purchase the Run Delivery add-on by logging into your account at WSTRoping.com and clicking the Purchase Membership link.
As of the writing of this article, over 13,000 runs have been delivered and roughly 3,000 remain. Ropers from the 9.5 and 8.5 - your runs are coming and many of you will see them populate hourly over the next two days.
For this new program, we use a video delivery partner who is among the top providers in the world. After the second day of the Finale, they reached out to our IT department and asked "What the heck are you doing in Vegas and how are you kicking out so many individual videos? We have never seen anything like this!" So, needless to say, our little ole roping at the South Point rocked back some Silicon Valley developers who have been scrambling now for a week to meet our video demands.
Bottom line, we apologize for the delay in getting your runs uploaded but we assure you they are coming as fast as the program and Internet will allow us to upload them. This was uncharted territory not only for us, but for one of the largest video platforms in the world and we are working on a fix for the future to make this process even more streamlined.
For those of you who have gotten your runs, we have received nothing but positive reports on the quality of the videos and also the ease of the viewing experience. That was our goal all along; to make sure that you and your friends and family could focus on roping and enjoying the action live and not have to worry about pulling out phones to capture the action.
Note: Due to the sheer volume of runs, there may be instances where you received the wrong runs or a wrong clip. Please shoot us an email with the roping number, team number, and roper name and we will do our best to get these instances fixed with the correct video as soon as possible.
