Tommy Crowson 1949 - 2017

Tommy Crowson died on December 24th, 2017 in San Tan Valley, Arizona at the age of 68.

Tommy was born on April 8th, 1949 in Las Cruces, New Mexico to Fox and Audrey Crowson. He graduated from Oklahoma Military school and attended University of New Mexico. Tommy was an accomplished Team Roper ,mostly as a Header. He participated at the top USTRC and World Series Ropings, winning the World Championship Senior roping with Walt Woodard. Avid and dedicated would be the words to describe his connection to the roping culture. He had a sharp wit and easy sense of humor. He will be missed by his friends.

Tommy is survived by his life partner Renate Daniels of San Tan Valley, AZ; daughter Jaree Freeman and her family of Austin, TX; his son T.J. (Kretice) Crowson and grandchildren: Reed, Brady, and Jett. of Highlands Ranch, CO; His brother Freeland Crowson and his family.
