Wildfire Businessman’s Another Hit

It was a great afternoon of roping at the #11.5 Businessman’s at Circle T Arena in Hamilton, TX on the first day of February. With the sun out and warm temperatures outside, things started to heat up inside, with 15 monies paid out and only 30 in the short round.  All you had to do was catch, and that’s what Jacob Carr, Daisetta, TX and Jared Gipson, Center, TX did, with a 7.43 in the short round to give them the first place finish. They took home buckles, custom rifles, and $24,000 dollars in cash. Overall, this Businessman’s roping gave away $135,300, as well as many prizes, including Yeti coolers. This was really a big deal when you consider that this event flowed so closely the WSTR qualifier at Hamilton. But the Wildfire gang did it up right giving VIP lunches, RidePass coverage, and a variety of prizes for different places. It was a successful event, and 8 teams qualified for the Finale in Las Vegas, so that is something we are proud of,” says producers Dru Stewart. Congratulations to all of the winners, and a great start to the beginning of 2020!
