William Lee Pafford 1947 - 2015



 On November 7, 2015, William Lee Pafford went home to be with the Lord at the young age of 68. He was surrounded by loved ones and peacefully took his last breath at 9:37pm. Willie will be deeply, deeply missed by all whom knew him. Willie was born in Vancouver, WA to Walt and Margaret Pafford. He is survived by his sisters Flossie, Esther, Barbara and Martha, married Sue Pafford, step-son Sean Young, daughter Annie Pafford, son Walter Pafford, Grandchildren Twany Young, Taylor Young, Daniel Reiff and Dylan Reiff. Great grandsons Mason and Kaden. Born a cowboy from day one, Willie begin his Rodeo career in his teens. After 13 years of riding bulls, Willie started team roping in his early 30’s. The cowboy life was Willie’s passion, as a career Willie’s earned his living running heavy equipment and was a finished blade operator 40 years. Most who knew Willie would all agree that he had a smile and kindness that would leave a lasting impression on your heart! You would never know when he might joke or do a back flip or help out someone in great need. Willie’s motto was It’s okay, that it’s not okay! His children would both agree that he was one cool FATHER!! Luke 12:32 Do not be afraid little flock, for your Father has chosen gladly to give you the Kingdom. Willie’s celebration of life will be held at Cadillac Chaparral Steakhouse & Saloon 22861 Highway 79, Ballesta Rd, Mile Marker 102, Pinal, AZ 85739 (520) 825-9677.
