Debbie Weaver 1955-2014

 Debbie Weaver, 59, of Andrews passed away Monday April 21, 2014 at University Medical Center in Lubbock.

Memorial services will be 10:00 Friday at the Cross-Bar Cowboy Church in Andrews. Rev.Trey Johnson of Burleson, Texas will officiate. Services are under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.

Debbie was born October 11, 1954 in McCamey, Texas to William and Annie Winters.
She graduated from Rankin High School in 1973 and then she graduated from Nursing School at Western Texas College in Snyder. She married David Weaver and they moved to Andrews in 1989 from Goldsmith. She worked as a school nurse for 27 years in Rankin and then at Andrews Middle School. She loved to play golf and was a member of several golf associations. Debbie was also an avid and talented team roper and she was a member of several roping associations as well such as , World Series of team roping, US team roping championships and the 40+ team Roping Championships.

Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Bill Winters.

She is survived by her husband, David Weaver of Andrews; son, Brian Weaver his wife Amber and children, Jacob, Ashlyn and Braydon all of Andrews; her mother, Annie Sue Winters of San Angelo, Texas; brother, Roy Winters of Marble Falls, Texas; and her husband parents, Sam and Nettie Weaver of Lubbock.
