We "ARE" The Official Roping Grand Finale

There can only be one roping that ends the roping year, "The Grand Finale", the icing on the roping season cake, the final and most visible roping in America. It occurs at the very same time the ultimate and "World Series of" rodeo occurs, December, Las Vegas, NV. The Grand Finale will award over Two Million Dollars in two hours in a manner that the great sport of team roping deserves. There is only one place to experience it, South Point Hotel and Casino. We were asked to develop a roping for the most “Elite” group of ropers in the United States and that’s exactly what we have done. You won’t find 100,000 ropers, 50,000 ropers, or even 10,000 ropers involved in this program, we don’t want them. You won’t find ropings with hundreds and hundreds of teams that take all day and all night to run, we don’t want them. We count money not teams. You will ultimately find 120 ropers left standing the final Saturday, December 13th, coiling their ropes and rolling the dice for the final payoff. These are mature ropers that play for real money, and know exactly what they like and don’t like in a championship roping. For that matter, they know exactly what they want in a qualification roping. What do ropers tell us they want?

-Ropers want to enter a couple of large ropings each year for the "big payout"!
-Ropers want the largest payoffs with the fewest number of teams!
-Ropers want multiple opportunities to win money with each entry!
-Ropers want to see maximum leverage for the entry fee investment!
-Ropers want a chance to win money even after missing a steer!
-Ropers want classification equality that enter one time gives them!
-Ropers want to compete in a great facility in a vacation destination!

So how do you think we doing? We produced the number two and three largest payoffs in the United States in the first six months of operation, we produce this event at South Point Casino during the National Finals Rodeo, our 80% payback qualifiers are growing all over the southwest, and has anyone ever even come close to awarding Two Million Dollars in Two Hours? If this sounds like something you want to be a part of, then come join one of the most Elite group of ropers in the country, those that attend the World Series of Team Roping!

The World Series of Team Roping Finale II

December 14th, 2007

Generally every roping story line starts out with the same theme “bigger and better.” But bigger and better is a little redundant for the World Series of Team Roping. Last year during its inaugural Finale Event the WS payoff surpassed every single roping in the United States except the Reno Invitational. Continuing to rise, the two "Big " ropings, the #11 Finale and the #10 Finale, rose from $570,000 and $590,000 to $650,000 each, with its national ranking splitting 2nd and 3rd behind Reno. The #14 Pro-Am Finale was added this year and was limited to 170 teams for a $406,000 payoff; achieving 10th in the national purse rankings without even trying.
