John Row 1945 -2016

 

John Row was born March 30, 1945 in Pawhuska, to Bill and Bernice (Blackstock) Row. He passed away March 29th, in Tishomingo, at the age of 70, 1 day short of his 71st birthday. 

He married Doris (Jacobs) Row in mead, Oklahoma on August 28th, 1975. John had lives in Sulphur and Tishomingo the last 40 years. He was a rancher and the owner of six-time World Champion AQHA roping horse, Apache Blue Boy. He was member of the various, cattleman’s and roping associations, and the United Church of TIshomingo. He still holds the Montana State Record for the the 100 yard dash to this day.

John passed away doing what he loved holding a colt, and being a cowboy!

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, John Jacob Row. He is survived by his wife, Doris Row, Tishomingo: children , Josh and Tina Cain, Jason and Rachael Melot, and Mike and Kellie Row: grandchildren, Alexis Row, Payton Row, Cutter Cain, Cactus Cain: a brother: Jim Row and wife, Judy”
